Macromolecule is a molecule with a high molecular weight. Its structure represents repeated repetitions of links.

Proteins are natural high-molecular nitrogen-containing compounds. They play a paramount role in all vital processes and are life carriers. Proteins are in all tissues of the organism- in blood, in bones.

Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and often sulfur, phosphorus, iron are parts of proteins. Proteins perform diverse functions in the body.

 Fats make an essential part of our food. Meat, fish, dairy products, grain contain fats. It is one of the main components of cells and tissues of living organisms.

Carbohydrates are the chief suppliers of energy to the human body. Carbohydrates are products of vegetable and animal origin. Along with proteins and fats, they are the most important components of food of the person and animals.

Macromolecule is a molecule with a high molecular weight which structure represents repeated repetitions of links.

Proteins are natural high-molecular nitrogen-containing connections. They play a paramount role in all vital processes, are life carriers. Proteins are contained in all tissues of organisms, in blood, in bones. Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and often sulfur, phosphorus, iron are a part of proteins. Functions of proteins in an organism:

1. Structural function (fibrous proteins)

2. Catalytic function (enzymes)

3. Protective function (immunoglobulin)

4. Regulatory function (citokine)

5. Transport function (transport proteins)

6. Reserve function of proteins

7. Motor and contractile functions

8. Receptor function (cellular receptor)

9. Also proteins play an important role in metabolism

 Fats make an essential part of our food. They are found in meat, fish, dairy products, grain. The value of these substances is expressed that they are the basic structural elements of any cellular membranes. Besides these substances are universal power sources. Without them the organism will not function correctly.       

Carbohydrates are organic compounds which include carbon, hydrogen and also oxygen. In total there are several kinds of the carbohydrates presented by monosaccharides, oligosaccharides and also complex carbohydrates and fibrous carbohydrates which define as food cellulose. Carbohydrates are the chief suppliers of energy to a human body. Along with proteins and fats, they are the most important component of food of a person and animals.
