Lead Gen Campaigns and Offers

Entering a Lead Gen campaign is the first step in creating and storing new Lead Gen promotions in IRIS. Campaigns can be classified as either Internal or External:

Internal Campaigns refer to any campaigns that promote in-house items.

External Campaigns refer to any campaigns that promote external or Agora-based items.

Select Campaign from the Main Input Menu.

Choose whether the campaign will be Internal or External. Select Lead Gen from the “Item Type” drop-down menu.

Select which “Item Code” (List) the campaign will promote from the drop-down menu. If you need to add a new Item Code to the system, select Add from the “Item Code” drop-down menu bar.


If adding a new item code to the system, a new pop-up box will appear that requires the following information to complete the process: Advantage List Code, List (Item Code), Name of list, Org. Number, Signup URL and Default URL. When you have finished entering this information click Add.

NOTE: Please ensure the signup URL is registered appropriately through IRIS. Contact the IRIS Team for more details.


You also have some additional preferences including, Analytics Code and Conversion Code sections for tying your google analytics account information to IRIS. You can also enter Confirmation Cookie information to better track conversions and sign ups. The ability to choose if you wish to classify your sign up forms with Ad Topics for your ad server is also available.

Select Add when you have finished entering all List Item information.

Enter an identifying and unique campaign name and when finished select Create Campaign to save and be taken to the new Lead Gen Offer screen.


Offers

Lead Gen offer screens are simple to create and only require the most basic information regarding the Lead Gen promotion (i.e. Copywriter).

(Note: if you have just created a new campaign, you will automatically be taken to the new offer screen and can skip the first step below)

Select Offer from the Main Input Menu.

Select and enter the appropriate information and then select Create Offer to save.

When naming Lead Gen offers – choose a naming convention that will help separate and classify the new offer. A suggestion would be to include the copywriter code in the offer name to keep the copywriters work separate and easily viewed by others.
